But at 1/4 the price of the Speck cases that I also have, I guess you get what you pay for.Update: after less than six months, all of the rubber feet fell off and the bottom piece cracked to the point that it no longer would stay on.Went back to a Speck case about a month ago and couldn't be happier.Ģ Excellent protection This is the second time when I buy this protective cover and I couldn't be happier. It's a hard fit ( I had to ask my father) but it does fit! and now its very snug! :Dĥ Worth what you pay This case looks and feels great, but is not too good for protection. My laptop usually just sits on my desk, which is great for this case, but the first time I decided to take my laptop with me, and placed it in a sleeve inside my backpack, the case developed cracks all over and part of it chipped off. However, I did look closer about the bottom not fitting, and it is supposed to snap on like the top once you slide it on. Even if the plastic-y thing its made of doesn't hold up as long as it doesn't drop my laptop I will probably continue to simply buy more of these cases. I also like the color, unless its in direct light it a little darker but I am still pleased with it and you can see the apple logo through it. The bottom slides on, not snaps which I am a little worried about but it is snug enough for me to carry on its side (with the top against my arm/side) and the computer hasn't fallen out yet. My bigest worry was that it would not fit my 13 inch macbook pro, which I just got a little while ago (in 2013). After about 3 weeks to a month two of them were already missing, and underneath two of the spots it has a little plastic that's sharp and will snag on clothing.Other than that, it's great for it's price and looks great and fits just fine! =)Ĥ Perfect! I was a little skeptical about buying this case but as it was only about 10 dollars I was willing to risk it. This screen protector has been so great! I've had it for a few months now and it still looks practically new! It has a few cracks and chips on the corners since that's where I accidentally hit it the most, but it isn't falling off my laptop or anything. The color is awesome! I love how bright green it is! A great neon =)I only have one negative remark about it: the little sponges on the bottom side of the case that help avoid sliding, well they are on there with just a little sticky stuff and aren't very permanent at all. It works to protect it but i may in the future pop the bottom off.Ĥ Thank Goodness I got this! I don't always like to carry my laptop in a soft case, because that would mean I would have to unzip 2 things - my backpack and then the laptop case. And it didn't come with directions so it was a guess on how to put the bottom on. While typing if your wrists are rested on the computer you can feel it. The bottom plat is a little bit more annoying than i would prefer. Its not as "lime" green as in the picture, more of just a really bright green but green is my favorite color so I love all shades. While it does do the job of protecting your computer from scratches watch out for the bottom portion doesn't appear to be that secure. The pricing here was $20 cheaper in comparison to something similar I saw in the Apple store, so if you're looking for a super-bright green cover / shell for your laptop, I'd recommend this one.Ĥ Alright I bought this because i didn't want my computer to be scratched, it works well to cover it and do its job with a pop of color. it doesn't add too much bulk, but it's definitely adds a little more weightĥ Does the Job, But is REALLY Green This case / shell is really bright neon green, a little more than I expected. The case fits well overall and was easy to install with a snap on the front but not on the back. It's a perfect fit (I'm just bad at taking off the top though I have taken it off multiple times.) You can see the apple logo, and it doesn't scratch your computer. Not recommended for greasy fingers, but I do it anyways and there aren't that many marks. It feels nice and rubbery (not yucky plastic like some covers). I wanted lime green, and this is actually lime green. I loved it when I got it but when I needed to take it off it was so hard and it broke making it not usableĢ AWESOME So, I was very skeptical about a case in general. I loved it when I got it but when I needed. Electronic Dictionaries, Thesauri & Translators.

The latest version of "31" is said to feature "strong bloody horror violence, pervasive language, sexual content and drug use." According to Bloody Disgusting, enough alterations were made for the organization that hands out the ratings, the Motion Picture Association of America ( MPAA), to issue a more theater-safe R after refusing to hand out anything less than an NC-17 rating after seeing the first two cuts of it.Īlthough NC-17 is a legitimate MPAA rating - unlike the non-official X, which is used almost exclusively for porn - most movie theaters refuse to show films with an NC-17 rating, which allows no viewers below the age of 17. Zombie is not (yet) up there with the greats, but this is superior trash.Rob Zombie has finally gotten an R rating for his upcoming horror movie, "31". Though some scenes drag, the pacing is generally good and the film effectively creates the sense of an exhausting physical and emotional journey that is vital to the myth pattern on which stories like this are built. There's an erotic element to much of the violence but, more than that, there are jokes directly aimed at those who recognise it. Brake's end of level boss has unexpected depth, though viewers familiar with the bdsm scene are likely to pick up on more of this than others. Jeff Daniel Phillips also works well, coming across like a Nick Cave character having a particularly bad day. Sheri Moon Zombie makes a fierce and likeable lead and has a chemistry with her husband's camera that recalls some of the screen's greatest director-star love affairs. Most of the bad guys have personality that goes beyond their promotional schtick, and Zombie knows when to bring us back to the relationships between the heroes that make us care about them. After that it's full on Running Man stuff, but with fewer one-liners and more of that trademark gore.Īlthough the running round the corridors and screaming section is the least interesting part of the film, it still hangs together pretty well. Before they know it they are chained up in a spectacular baroque theatre where bewigged aristocrats (led by a quiet but still charismatic Malcolm McDowell) take bets on how long each of them will survive a labyrinth of terrors. After stopping in a small town on the 30th of October, they find their route blocked by voodoo scarecrows in the middle of the road. An overlong but endearingly camp introduction by psychopathic killer Doom-Head (Richard Brake) segues into the story of a group of hippie carnival performers travelling the dusty backroads of America in their beat-up van. This is important because the story here is a familiar one, even if it's nicely framed. It's exploitation cinema but it's made with care. This is thanks in part to the excellent work of cinematographer David Daniel and editor Glenn Garland, who give form to his still chaotic vision. The central characters are well drawn, their relationships to one another efficiently communicated, and although he packs in a lot of stylistic quirks popular in the period, they don't detract from his story. 31 is set in the Seventies and is to some extent pastiche, but he has understood the cinema he's playing with well. Perhaps it's odd to suggest that somebody who has managed to attract such a dedicated fan following as Zombie had not previously communicated with a clear voice, but whilst the violence and the brashness of his work gave it a distinctive character, he was limited in what he was able to express beyond that. There's a new cinematic vocabulary on display and, more importantly, his own voice has started to come through. With this film, he has finally come of age. From early efforts that were the cinematic equivalent of finger painting and played like MTV with added gore, he's come a long way, picking up scraps of technique at every stage. Few filmmakers have grown up in public in quite the way Rob Zombie has. Though I can’t get past night four, □! The second I heard about Five Nights at Freddy I couldn’t stop thinking about it! So I bought it- and I don’t regret it like I do with most games that cost cash! Not going to lie Foxy scares me- and keeps jump scarring me which is why I’m stuck on day four but it’s not a glitch it’s just the gameplay! This isn’t laggy at all! At least for me. It’s elegant in how it sows fear, and is a must-own for anyone who likes scary games." -Joel Couture Simple still images and proper character design steal the show in this game, and show that Scott Cawthon knows quite a lot about the secret fears people feel when looking at creepy dolls and toys. It’s a fantastic example of how cleverness in design and subtlety can be used to make an experience terrifying. "For all the simplicity of the game’s controls and premise, Five Nights at Freddy‘s is frightening. That means when you run out of power for the night- no more security doors and no more lights! If something isn't right- namely if Freddybear or his friends aren't in their proper places, you must find them on the monitors and protect yourself if needed! You have a very limited amount of electricity that you're allowed to use per night (corporate budget cuts, you know). They are animatronic robots, programmed to please the crowds! The robots' behavior has become somewhat unpredictable at night however, and it was much cheaper to hire you as a security guard than to find a repairman.įrom your small office you must watch the security cameras carefully. Welcome to your new summer job at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, where kids and parents alike come for entertainment and food as far as the eye can see! This is 25% less than buying all of this content alone, but still pushes the price of the game to $80 to get all of content. This $20 Watch Dogs in app purchase is available on the Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS3 and PS4 game and includes a week early access. There is already a Watch Dogs season pass that includes new characters, a new single player story, a new game mode and other gear. EA is well-known for selling access to better teams in Madden and other games where players might have otherwise entered a cheat code to unlock all courses or level up a team of the best players. But doing everything is close 100h.Īlthough cheats are still a part of many games, we are seeing more and more developers switch to selling access to better players and skills. In Watch Dogs, players enter the dangerous world of Aiden Pearce, a new class of antihero whose ability to hack into any connected system could be his most powerful weapon. If Watch Dogs cheats let gamers gain hacking skills faster or zip around the city this number might drop and gamers may feel like they got less value for the $60 I would say the average player which does free roam a bit tend to reach the end within 35-40h. For users that want to get everything, the play time will likely be closer to 100 hours. This includes the main storyline and a little bit of free roam around this digital version of Chicago. Without Watch Dogs cheats Ubisoft believes it will take the average gamer 40 hours to complete the game from start to finish. There is always a chance that there will be some Watch Dogs mods, trainers or hacks for the PC version of the game, but with a new engine this may take some time. Two Fitbit Flex settings you'll want to change covers this more, about how you can track progress toward distance, calories burned or "very active minutes" of activity. But despite this, the lights easily shine through.īy default, the device will show your progress toward a step-based goal, but this can be changed, if you know where to look. Technically, I scuffed the cover on the wristband over the display on the actual tracker inside the band. I do wish the display were a bit bigger, and I was disappointed to find I managed to scuff part of it quickly. The Flex also vibrates as an alert when this happens, which has caught me off-guard but in a pleasant way, almost like the band is congratulating me. If you've not been active, you'll only see one or two lights. Tap twice gently on the display, and the lights come on. The Flex now provides the same direct motivation, through five small lights to show your progress. It's right on my wrist, how active I've been - or not. I don't have to open up an app on my phone or computer to check. I don't feel lost in all the data my device collects. It's also easily offset by the advantages the wristband format brings, a water-resistant design like the Up and the Nike FuelBand have, the ability to track non-step activities better and perhaps best of all, direct motivation through progress lights on the deviceĪs I wrote about the Nike FuelBand, being able to easily see my progress toward a particular daily activity goal has been incredibly motivating. The clasp on the FuelBand, when opened, plugs into a USB outlet to charge. The Nike FuelBand remains awesome in not needing anything custom at all. In contrast, my Jawbone Up uses a propriety USB adapter to charge, but that's much easier to use. The Flex holds a charge for about five days and recharges quickly, though getting the small tracker out of the wristband that contains it is a bit fiddly, as is putting it into the custom charger that plugs into a USB outlet. Fitbit is also apparently improving the clasp in versions going out to consumers, versus the pre-production devices that went out to reviewers Underside of Flex band on left showing opening for tracker, in the middle and USB charger on right. Here's a tip: close the clasp by turning the Flex to the side of your wrist and pressing against your wrist bone, rather than into the wrist itself. Like Brian Bennett in CNET's formal review of the Fitbit Flex, I even found myself hurting my wrist at first closing the Flex. But getting the clasp to close takes a little practice. It weighs about half-an-ounce, and never felt heavy or uncomfortable around my wrist. The Flex sells for $100, just like its clip-on sibling, the One. The new wristband version of the Fitbit corrects some of the deficiencies I found with the Fitbit One, such as tracking my standup paddleboarding better and making me feel more motivated to hit my daily activity goal. My series on living with four different activity trackers returns to the Fitbit because there's a new Fitbit in town, the Fitbit Flex. „Far Cry“ und somit zahlreiche Schnäppchen schlagen.
